A brilliant, dark garnet with a slight violet hue sets the stage for a richly textured Cabernet Sauvignon with great depth of character. Layered notes of black cherry, black currant and spice form a well-structured backdrop for a decadent palate of dark fruit, leather, tobacco and pencil shaving. Full-bodied with ripe tannins, our Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon will continue to evolve for up to five years of additional cellaring. Following harvest at optimum ripeness throughout September and into early November, the grapes, were gently crushed and destemmed and pressed before fermentation in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine aged in 40% new French oak barrels for 15 months. 13.9% ABV, 750ml glass bottle, 5-150ml servings.
